MTSS-B Resources

In 2021, BHII launched the NH Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Behavioral Health and Wellness Technical Assistance (MTSS-B TA) Center in partnership with the Office of Student and Educator Wellness (OSEW) at the NH Department of Education. The NH MTSS-B TA Center provides training, coaching, and technical assistance to New Hampshire schools and districts to build system capacity for implementing NH’s MTSS-B, a tiered prevention and school-community behavioral health integration framework that supports improved behavioral and learning outcomes for students. BHII served as the architect of the NH MTSS-B Toolkit, which offers over 75 tools and guidance documents for each step in the MTSS-B implementation process.

OSEW took on sole operation of the NH MTSS-B TA Center in October 2024 and now hosts the TA Center website at nhmtssb.org.

Explore the MTSS-B Toolkit for tools to support both district- and school-level MTSS-B exploration and implementation. Examples include:

MTSS-B Implementation Tasks: A map for implementation throughout your MTSS-B journey

MTSS-B Adoption Discussion Guide: Consider key questions to help you determine whether MTSS-B is right for your school district

Community Data Profile Template: Organize and present data in infographic templates that can inform discussions about MTSS-B implementation priorities

Developing Facilitated Referral Pathways: Learn how to support “warm hand offs” for students and their families to community-based mental health supports
